veggie talk

I look doubtfully at the packet, "Aren’t those like the radishes you getwhen you plant the seeds too close together?"
"Yes," the Bean Butler replies, "But this way the Colonel saves you all the trouble."
"Which way did the Weener-Man pull out of here?" I inquire.
"I don’t know about him, but I saw the Rodney-car pull out and turn south on the road," the Bean Butler answers.
I thank the Bean Butler and go out to the truck and set my box of plants on the floor. Going south to the Clover County Supply, I’d have to cross the Too Much Creek at the Drollinger’s and I didn’t quite have the time for that. But then I see a road go offt  to the left. I figure it should take me to the historic Ford Road. I’d just wade the truck through the water-bridge there and catch up to the Weener-Man at the Spur’s End where the Farm Supply was located.
