I look over the terrace, “Say Charley. You’v e got the corn here planted down on the terqrace next to the Cat-tails. I din’t think corn was that water intensive.”
Charley looks both way, and then says in a low voice, “Corn isn’t, really, it’s just that…”
‘You just found the ‘Top-Secret’ project,” Honey Dew Kno says with a laugh.
“Corn? Catt-tails?” I scratch my head, “What’s so top-secret about that?”
“Well,” Charley says with a slight air of mystery, “Cattails are one of the most efficent convertors of sunlight, and if I can only get it to cross-pollinate with corn, alcohol production would be that more efficent,” Charley Kno smiles, “It’d be a Gold Mine.”
“And the WeenerMan helped you to firgure this scheme out,” I comment.
Charley looks surprised, “How’d you know that, this is supposed to be top secret.”
“On some Mysteries,” I reply, “Teh Weenerman is the sure-clue.”
“A Sure-Clue coming from someone who is somewhat Clueless,” Honey Dew Kno adds with another giggle.
