The Weener may have cast a sideways glance from behind his shades, but goes on, “So Ernie says, ‘I know, Sam Bascom is having a clear out on his South Southern Beach Mugs down at the General Mercahantile, bet he’d let go of them for a quarter a mug.”
The Weenerman figured, “Quarter a mug, and we’re selling them for $2.50 a pop,” he smiles, “We’re talking Profits here.”
I try to figure, “Something here’s out of place.”
“And an authentic South Southern Beach Mug like from one of their resorts, those are hard to get in the first place,” Twistine observes.
“Ernie,’ the Weenerman announces, but the backdoor on the Burdock Eatery is already swinging shut and we can hear the squeakingof Ernie’s bike as it heads off into the general direction of Sam Bascom’s General Merchantile.
