Varmitt Done Been Caught

Ernie looks arouund quickly, “And come to think of it,  just where is the WeenerMan?”
Greg looks at me, “Um Yeah, when was the last time that you saw him?”
I shrug, dropped him off on the road back tohis farm, right after you and Ernie jumped out of the back of the Truck.”
Greg frowns, “That’s rather close to the turnoff to the Township Outback, you don’t suppose the Weener….?”

“Doy,” I slap my own head.

We jump into the Buck Truck and roll off to the OutBack. We head for where the Snippees trails converge and Ernie is the first to report, “Hey Look! Something has done sprung the Trap”

We climb out of the Buck truck and approach the sprung trap cautiously.

“Wonder if the Critter is still in it,” Greg mcIntyre speculates.

Ernie peeks around the side and exclaims, ‘There sure is, there’s two beady eyes staring at me out the air-holes,” a pause, “And they are really beady eyes!”

Greg swings around to take a look fro himself, “Yep, them’s a pair of the beadiest eyes I evers  seen.”

I take a look, and grin, “Don’t know if that’s a Snippee’s but looks like we sure coaught our selves a hairy Varmint in there.”

There is an immediate primal reply, “!@#$%^&*()_+!!!!=+_);(^&^&*(*() Me Out of Here!!!!@#$%^^&&*()()><?+)(#@!!!!”

Gregg mcIntyre scratches his head, ‘Never heard of a Snippee’s growling like that before.”

“Might have something,” I suggest.

“Hey, if you want me to, I’ll go get the Doc,” Ernie suggest real quickly.

“Tell him, he’ll need to bring the Long needle,” McIntyre tells Ernie.

“The really long one,” Ernie says enthusiastically.

“Knock it off,” the critter in the crate growls more, “Get me out of here, because I made a very valuble scientific discovery!!”

Me and Greg get on either side of the heavy crate adn start to lift one end up. Ernie leaps up intothe back of the Buck Truck and starts scanning in all directions.

“What’s that, hnnnh, about?” Greg heaves.

“I’m being Look Out,” Ernie replies, “Haven’t you seen the Westerns, during an Escape, youalways need a lookout.”

“Heeave,” Greg heaves, “makes sense.”

“Rgggh,” I lift, “Sure, in Clover County.”
