“There, There Grouchero,” the CountyVet steps up, “While we’re at it, let’s just get your yearly bear examanation out of the way.”
The CountyVet starts to check Old Grouchy’s ears and teeth.
“We like to keep an eye on him,” Ranger Warden explains as he pulls out a tape measutre, “If we can guesstimate Grouchy’s girth, length, and height, we can draw a bead on his weight and how he’s doing in the outback.”
“Never saw Old Grouch stay still like that,” Greg MacIntyre ponders.
