HM furrows his brow, “Which leaves us with a problem of where can we lay low for awhile?”
I shake my head, “Well actually, I was planning to go look for a job this afternoon.”
The Weenerman snaps his fingers, “Of course, what a stroke of genious! That will be the last place anybody will come looking for us,” HM frowns, “However, I would like to put the River between us and our pursuers.”
“Good Luck,” I shrug, “the Ford Bridge is back that way, and the road bridge will get us tied up a the Drollinger’s all afternoon.”
HM turns off onto a side-trail, “Shjuld find somewhere to get accross that shallow crick,”
I frown, “The Too Much is up, rather suprising for this time of year.”
The trail comes out along the Rver and we turn to see a large peice os plywoood with a sign painted onto it: ‘Michael Fink’s Keel-Boat-Paddling and River Rat-Rat Training Camp.”
