What’s Cooked

Mike Fink’s crew start to stir and begin todrag themselves out from their tents.
“What’s cooking?” one asks abruptly.
“Breakfast,” Micheal answers.
“Don’t look at me,” the first crew guy protests, “I cooked last month.”
“We got a guest celebrity chef,” Mike Fink announces, “HM Weenerman, they say he is an ace cooker.”
“I might believe the ace part,” the first crew guy retorts, “But I’ll see about the food.”
The WeenerMan looks up from where he ladles out the batter onto the grill with the blade of the five iron, “That’s the way it always works, everybody’s gotta be a critic.”
“It’s free,” I suggest.
“Free?” the first crew guy perks up, “In thast case I’ll have a stack of them flap-jacks, and a whole pile of those sausage links.”
